What you need
- One large sheet of paper
- A thick marker
- Removable tape
Set up
Divide the paper into two columns and several rows. In every row, draw two large arrows pointing in any combination of directions: up, down, left, right, or diagonal. Tape the sheet to a wall at child height.
How to play
Stand facing the arrows. Place one closed fist at the tail of each arrow in the top row. Move both fists through the air along their arrows at the same time, stopping at the arrowheads. Continue down the sheet one pair at a time.
At the bottom, return to the top and repeat with a new movement style: very slowly, with straight arms, with bent elbows, or while standing farther away and reaching. Take turns pointing to the next row and setting the pace.
If the arms become mixed up, freeze them, find both arrow tails again, and restart that pair together.
