Color Cup Match
Point to a colour with one hand while covering its match in a second grid with the other.

What you need
- Eight coloured paper squares in four matching pairs
- One lightweight cup
Set up
Make two separate 2-by-2 colour grids using the same four colours in different positions. Turn one grid slightly so it looks like a diamond. Place the cup upside down beside one grid.
How to play
Place one index finger beside the first grid and hold the cup with the other hand beside the second. Your partner names a colour. At the same time, touch that colour in the finger grid and place the cup over its match in the cup grid.
Lift both hands, reset at the edges, and continue with a new colour. After several calls, switch which hand points and which hand controls the cup. Take turns calling colours, sometimes repeating one and sometimes changing quickly.
Move deliberately enough for the finger and cup to arrive together. If a match is missed, leave both hands still, find the pair, and correct it without rushing.
