Ribbon Runway
Work together to roll a paper ball along two ribbons and open a gap above the correct landing cup.

Helps with
What you need
- Two ribbons or wide shoelaces, each about 1 metre long
- One loosely crumpled paper ball, about 5 cm across
- 3–5 wide cups or small bowls
Set up
Sit facing each other on the floor. Place the landing cups in a line between you. Each person holds one end of each ribbon so the ribbons form two parallel rails above the cups. Set the paper ball across the rails near one player.
How to play
Choose a landing cup. Work together to tilt the two ribbons so the ball rolls slowly along the runway toward it. Keep the ribbons the same distance apart while the ball travels.
When the ball is directly above the target, say “Open!” and gently separate the ribbons together so it drops into the cup. Reset the ball, choose the next cup, and roll in the opposite direction.
If the ball falls early, place it back at the last cup and continue. Keep the ribbons low, hold only their ends, and never tie or wrap them around anyone.
