Topsy-Turvy Tracing

Trace two patterns at once, with each hand following its own path.

What you need

  • Printed tracing sheet

Set up

Print the tracing sheet and place it flat. Sit or stand centered between the two patterns.

How to play

Place one index finger on each green dot, then trace both lines at the same time.

  • Row 1: Start in the middle and move outward.
  • Row 2: Start at the outside edges and move inward.
  • Row 3: Start one finger in the spiral’s center and the other at its outside end.
  • Row 4: Start both fingers on the left and move right.

Move slowly and keep both fingers on their lines. At the end of a row, lift your fingers, move to the next pair of dots, and continue. When you reach the bottom, return to the top.
